Abstract

517,749. Straps of wrist watches. SPIERS, A. R. Aug. 11, 1938, No. 23727. [Class 43] A wrist watch 1 is secured by two straps 2, 3, the strap 3 carrying a loop member 8 at its end and also having mounted on it a slide member 10 supporting one element 4 of a snap fastening, while the other strap 2 is passed through the loop 8 and carries at its end the other element 6 of the snap fastening, the arrangement being such that, when the fastening 4, 6 is closed, the straps overlie one another without the strap 2 being bent back upon itself. A single strap may be used, if desired, instead of the ends of the straps 2, 3 being secured to the watch.
