[Class 141] [Also in Group VI] A surgical bandage or binder comprises a length of material having a part which lies over the abdomen and a part 4 which passes around the body and is threaded through a loop 5 at the under face of the binder near the outer end of the part 2; the part 4, which is of nearly the same depth as the part 2, is bifurcated to form straps 6, or is provided with straps, which are passed through loops 7, 8 on the part 2 and then doubled back over the loop 8 and passed again into the loop 7 which is located near the centre of the part 2.
