Abstract

493,819. Diapers. LEWIS, C. E. Feb. 15, 1938, No. 4737. [Class 141] Diapers comprise a crotch fitting portion terminating in waist band portions, one of which is furnished with openings for engagement by non-metallic hooks carried by the other waist band portion. As shown, the diaper is made of two thicknesses of material between which a pad 12 may be inserted through a slit 17, and one waist portion 9 is fitted with fabric or other non-metallic hooks 20 which engage slots 21 formed in a band 22 on the other waist portion 8. The crotch portion 7 may be curved as shown, or the diaper may have straight sides.
