370,267. Lubricating passages in pistons. TOTTLE, D. R., 53, Pelham Street, Hull. June 24, 1931, No. 18236. [Class 12 (ii).] A piston is connected to a connecting-rod so as to be free to rotate relative thereto to provide varying thrust surfaces to equalize wear. The rod 22 is secured to a carrier ring 13 mounted between a shoulder 18 on the piston and a ring 19 welded &c. to the piston. The ring 13 may have a peripheral oiling groove 20.
