[Class 122 (i)] Each gudgeon-pin boss is connected to the head and skirt by inclined webs 3, 5 which extend substantially along the lines of thrusts exerted in the piston. The skirt may be formed with oil scraper grooves which extend upwardly and inwardly from the skirt periphery.
