SPECIALARTIKEL FœR KRAFTFAHRZEUGE, 48, Bockenheimer-Anlage, Frankfort-on-Main, both in Germany. Nov. 19, 1930, No. 34812. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1929. [Class 106 (ii).] Comprises a tubular part k which is screwed to the tyre nipple and over which the cap part a enclosing the gauge parts can slide. The cap a has a window b through which a mark n on a tube c can be observed through a transparent tube d fitted between the parts a, b A tyre-valve depressor h<1> on a perforated disc h is surmounted by a diaphragm g and spring- pressed thimble e provided with a mark o. A spring q normally holds the parts in the position shown and when the cap a is depressed the tyrevalve is opened and the diaphragm is moved up, the correct pressure being indicated by the mark o aligning with the mark n. A nipple l normally closed by a cap m serves for charging.
