Pneumatic tyre pressure gauges. -Comprises a casing, a pressure responsive member moving an indicating member and means carried by one of the members for adjusting their normal relative positions after the gauge parts are assembled in the casing. The casing B is closed at one end which is provided with a rectangular slot through which passes a flat graduated rod C to the other end of which is riveted a cup-shaped guide member C<1>. The piston D comprises a screwed block d through which passes an engaging screw d<5>, a force-fitted cap d<7> clamping a cup leather d<4> and also a packing d<6>. A coupling J is force-fitted over the open end against a packing k. Under the closed end of the casing is a cupshaped washer G between which rod and a flange on the part d is located the gauge spring E. A bent spring strip located between the washer G and the end of the casing frictionally grips the rod C. The gauge assembled as shown, without the foot F, is subjected to a known pressure. If this pressure is not indicated correctly the rod C is moved relatively to the piston by manipulating the screw d<5> until the pressures agree. The foot F with tyre valve depressor f and packing f<1> is then screwed on to the bottom of the gauge.
