369,206. Heating lubricant. ALVAREZ, B. G., Berrotaran, Cordoba, Argentine. Dec. 11, 1930, No. 37400. Convention date, March 15. [Class 12 (iii).] Heated lubricating-oil from a vessel 1 is admitted through a valve 5 to the cylinder 18 of a compression refrigerating machine in order to prevent liquefaction of the refrigerant in the cylinder, the mixed refrigerant and lubricant being expelled through a valve 15 and led back to vessel 1 through a pipe 16, a jacket space around the cylinder and a pipe 19. The oil may be heated by an electrical element 2, and the flow to the cylinder may be controlled by a hand valve 3. Ethyl chloride may be used as refrigerant.
