518,335. Lubricating and cooling bearings. DAY, C. Sept. 9, 1938, No. 26308. [Classes 12 (i) and 12 (iii)] In means for lubricating and cooling bearings comprising annular grooves 31 and 72 located around and within the bearings 73 and communicating with a hollow crankshaft 65, adjacent shaft bearings 73 are provided in pairs with a separate oil supply under pressure from a pump connected to the inlet 57 of the pair shown, the outlet 61, being provided with a hand adjustable spring valve 60.
