368,448. Spray carburetters. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES., Stuttgart, Unterturkheim, Germany. Jan. 5, 1931, No. 393. Convention date, Jan. 6, 1930. [Class 7 (iii).] A rotary valve 8, controlling the supply to a carburetter, of hot air through a passage 13, and cold air through a pipe 14, is rotated by the same thermostat 19 which operates the radiator shutters 16. The thermostat is located in the lower tank of the radiator, and the air is heated by enclosing the bonnet space by a plate 12.
