Abstract

368,407. Thermionic valves. BULLIMORE, W. R., 22, Highbury Grove, London. Dec. 11, 1930, No. 37428. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (i).] In assembling electrodes of thermionic valves, an electrostatic screen is rigidly fixed to the foot of the valve, insulating members such as mica plates are mounted around the screen to support the anode, and a further insulating member is mounted within the screen at its upper end to support the control grid, the cathode being supported or positioned by this further member or by another insulating plate carried by the control grid. The screen may be of the kind described in Specification 361,867. The constructions of Figs. 1-6 of Specification 368,408 are described.
