Abstract

366,802. Heating water. HAMILTON, W., Woodlands, Best Beech Hill, Wadhurst, Sussex. April 11, 1931, No. 10726. [Class 64 (i).] Water is heated and stored in two or more intercommunicating vessels arranged according to their size so that a smaller vessel 7 is always above a larger vessel 1, and each is so heated by elements 9, 4 controlled by thermostats 8, 3 that the larger vessel is automatically kept at a lower temperature than the smaller. Heater 9 is larger in comparison with tank 7 than heater 4 with tank 1 so that the water therein is rapidly heated before being drawn off through an outlet 10. Water direct from tank 1 can be drawn off through pipe 6.
