436,193. Heating water. HETTINGER, V., Avenue de la Gare, Selestat, Bas-Rhin, France. April 23, 1935, No. 12274. Convention date, April 27, 1934. [Class 64 (i)] A water heater comprises a double-walled conical cover with a water space between the walls 1, 2, which are joined at their base by a wall 3 inwardly inclined and extended to meet an inwardly bent rim on the inner wall 2 so that the heater fits over cooking vessels of various sizes to utilize heat therefrom, the rim returning condensed steam to the vessel. The conical heater is connected by circulation pipes b, c, to a reservoir, from the surface of which water is drawn off by a pipe 8 with a float 7 and tap 9. The heaters are suspended on the reservoir when not in use.
