Abstract
366,439. Inflating valves. ALLIGATOR VENTILFABRIK ABTEILUNG DER M. STEIFF GES. and STEIFF, O., Giengenon-Brenz, Wurtemburg, Germany. March 21, 1931, No. 34479. Divided on 367,344. [Class 135.] An inflating valve has a removable part t o f the casing b provided with a resilient tapered washer e adapted to cooperate with a corresponding seat f on the fixed part of the casing, said washer being mounted on a sleeve g secured in the lower end of the detachable part. The lower end of the part b is undercut at j and the upper end of washer is complementarily tapered, the lower end being arranged to rest on a shoulder n in the sleeve g. The sleeve is secured to the part b by forcing a part k of the sleeve into a groove in the body part. The upper part of the sleeve may be arranged to act as a stop for a projection t on the valve spindle.
