Check lift valves. - An annular check valve sliding over a fixed spindle screwed into the seating is provided with means above the seating to lock the spindle in position. The spindle c is screwed into the seating b and is locked by a r.ut d in a recess e in the valve member. The latter has two bearing surfaces b, b<1> and is controlled by a spring f.
