Fluid-actuating mechanisin.-A steam valve 1 particularly applicable for use as a relay-valve controlling the operation of safety valves is provided with a piston 2 formed as an enlargement on the valve spindle 5 adapted to work in a floating bush 3. The bush 3 provides a bearing surface for the piston and is free for slight endwise and lateral movements.
