Abstract
210,134. Thomson, R. Oct. 18, 1922. Gauge glasses. - The displacement from its seating of a blow-off ball valve is effected by a member carried by a sleeve or tubular spindle revolubly disposed around a reciprocable plunger rod which is adapted to displace an emergency ball valve from its seating. The bodies of the upper and lower mountings are interchangeable: the mountings are each provided with a sliding plunger 21 for unseating the ball valve 8, the lower mounting being also provided with a tubular sleeve 17 around the plunger which has an eccentric portion 20 adapted to unseat the blow-off valve 14 by a movement of the handle 18.
