[Class 123 (i).] A pipe union or connector is wholly or partly composed of carbon or other non-metallic electric conducting material, particularly for connecting fluid supply conduits to electric apparatus such as mercury arc rectifiers for the purpose of resisting corrosion due to electrolvtic currents. A metal connector has a carbon liner which projects at one end so as to make contact with the conduit.
