[Class 99 (i).] Trough-shaped connection members 1 adapted to fit on the corners of a gas meter have flat upper faces 4 out of which stub-pipes 5 are formed when the position of the meter supply and delivery pipes is known. Threaded nipples for the pipe unions are then soldered or welded to the stub-pipes. The connection members are preferably formed with flanges 2 to facilitate their attachment to the casing. Each member 1 is preferably formed from a seamless piece of sheet metal.
