507,266. Pipe fittings. KEHM, H. S. June 9, 1938, No. 17178. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1937. [Class 99 (i)] In a pipe fitting, particularly for heating or cooling systems, having a branch 18, a detachable baffle member 21 is located in the main bore so that fluid from a particular region of the main can be directed into the branch or, alternatively, flow from the branch can be directed into a ,particular region of the main. The baffle can be rotated to any desired position and the part 22 be expanded against the fitting to secure the baffle in position. The baffle shown comprises eccentric tubular portions 22, 23 connected by a curved wall 24.
