398,135. Gas meters. CRANE, Ltd., 45, Leman Street, London, and BENNETT, J. E., Briar Lodge, Briar Hill, Purley, Surrey. May 17, 1933, No. 14317. [Class 54.] A flat horizontal bar 5 is fixed by means of bushes 6, 7 to elbows 1, 2 on the gas inflow and outflow pipes 3, 4 and supports by pendant rods 14, 15 a wooden platform 17 on which the gas meter rests. The inlet and outlet pipes on the meter are connected to the bushes 6, 7 by offset tubes 10. The bar 5 extends beyond the bush 7 sufficiently far to allow a prepayment mechanism to be provided on one side of the meter.
