Abstract
364,171. Heating and mixing charge. GASIFICADOR ECONOMIZADOR VELAZQUEZ SOC. ANON., 6, Orueta, Bilbao, Spain. Oct. 3, 1930, No. 29672. Convention date, May 30. Addition to 364,170. [Class 7 (iii).] The parent Specification describes a device for heating and mixing the charge consisting of a cylindrical chamber with exhaust heated walls, and containing an engine-driven cupped disc against which mixture from a carburetter impinges and is flung against the heated wall. According to the invention (1) the disc G is mounted on a vertical axle M and has a cvlindrical wall P extending in the. direction of the outlet L ; (2) the wall carries hinged scrapers Q adapted to be driven by centrifugal force against the hot wall D; (3) the axle of the disc carries a mixing fan H in the outlet duct L ; (4) the lower part T of the casing in which carbon deposits collect is removable. The mixture enters at F and is controlled by a valve V. The disc is driven through a pulley K.
