[Class 122 (i).] In a piston cooling arrangement for internalcombustion engines wherein the cooling water is fed from the hollow crosshead pin through the pipe n to the piston and returns through the space o, the end of the piston-rod b is screwed into a bush e provided with internal and external opposed threads, which in turn is screwed into the hollow 'projection c of the crosshead a. The cooling water passes from the space o, through ports f and axial - bores h to the space i in the cap k where it passes to atmosphere through the pipe l.
