After this, the foot portion is covered with crepe rubber and a crepe rubber sole c and heel d are attached by adhesive and sewing. The lower edge of the leg portion may be reduced in thickness and roughened and united to the crÛpe rubber foot portion by liquid crÛpe rubber applied to the junction g.
