Sandals; slippers. -A bathing-sandal of rubber comprises a sole 1, which may have an insole 2, and spaced toe and heel sections 5, 3 secured to the sole, for example by vulcanisation. T h e free edges of the sections are reinforced by strips 7, 6, and an ankle-encircling ring 9 secured to the heel section is secured at the front to a strip 8, which passes under the strip 7 and over the toe section and is secured to the front of the sole.
