393,905. Bathing-sandals. RADIUMGUMMIWERKE, Dellbruck, Cologne, Germany. Feb. 6, 1933, No. 3615. Convention date, Dec. 16, 1932. [Class 17 (ii).] A bathing-sandal comprises a rubber sole 1 and a piece of sheet rubber cut to provide a plurality of portions 4 protruding beyond and disposed around the sole including a part shaped to extend from the heel towards the front of the foot on each side of the ankle, the ends of these protrusions being formed with holes through which a lace or cord can be drawn and tied to hold the sandal on the foot. The holes are reinforced by holed discs of rubber or textile material. An inner sole of textile material is provided, and the whole is vulcanized together.
