Top boots. - A Wellington boot of the kind comprising a waterproof foot piece 1 having a leather heel tread 3 and a leg piece 4 of fabric is provided on the leg piece with an overlapping portion which has an inclined edge 5 merging into a vertical edge 6. The latter edge is laced by means of eyelet holes 10 to the vertical edge 7 of a flap 8 which has an inclined edge 9 forming a continuation of the edge 5.
