Abstract
362,177. Tea-rolling machines. KRUPP GRUSONWERK AKT.-GES., F., Buckau, Magdeburg, Germany. Dec. 17, 1930, No. 38113. Convention date, Oct. 30. [Class 129.] In a tea-rolling machine, the flap closing the discharge can be swung out of the closing position to such an extent beyond 90‹ that it does not project into the mass of tea in the collecting container. The flap 3 is operated by a lever 5 with lost motion due to a slot 8 in its bearing. On swinging the lever 5, a cam 9 releases the locking bolt mechanism 12 which holds the flap in closed position. Continued motion of the lever causes the shoulder of the slot 8 to engage a projection 6 on the door pivot shaft and swing it from the position shown in Fig. 2 to that shown in Fig. 4, where it is held by the bolt 19<1>.
