Abstract

362,166. Hand grip wrenches. ELLIN (FOOTPRINT WORKS), Ltd., T. R. and ELLIN, T. R., Footprint Works, Hollis Croft, Sheffield. Dec. 11, 1930, No. 37342. [Class 61 (iii).] The pivot pin a of the jaw members of an adjustable hand-grip wrench is retained in position by a ball catch d pressed outwardly by a spring c and retained in t he cavity b by turning in the metal round the mouth of the hole e. The cavity b may extend through the pin and be provided with a ball at each end, and each end of the pin may be provided with similar spring-pressed ball or balls, the head f in this case being dispensed with. The pin may be fixed permanently to one of the jaw members.
