Abstract
356,964. Thermionic valves. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Walt, K. C. de; 516, Summit Avenue, Schenectady, New York, U.S.A.) Oct. 8, 1930, No. 30161. Convention date, Oct. 8, 1929. [Class 39 (i).] A magneticallycontrolled valve generator has pair of anodes 9 symmetrically disposed about a cathode 2 the limbs of which are arranged in a plane passing through the gaps between adjacent edges of the anodes, which are preferably formed as segments of a cylinder and provided w i t h heat-radiating tins 10. The cathode may be of hairpin shape. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a valve with more than one pair of anodes. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Specification 336,138, [Class 39 (i), Electric lamps, Arc &c.], is referred to.
