Abstract
274,509. Loewe, S. July 19, 1926, [Convention date]. Vacuum tubes.- Incandescent cathodes of rectifiers and other electron discharge tubes comprise a coating of metal oxides or other substances with high emission applied to a platinum or platinum-iridium coating on a core of or containing iron. Known sealing-in wires may be used and coated with oxide. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises also cores of chromenickel coated with platinum or platinum-iridium and then with oxides. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
