355,582. Draught excluders for doors. OLIVER, D., 44, K÷nigin-Augustastrasse, Berlin, and POKORNY, M., 6, Werderstrasse, Lokstedt, Hamburg, both in Germany. Oct. 27, 1930, No. 32271. Convention date, Nov. 9, 1929. [Class 20 (iii).] Hinged doors for sloping entrances are provided with a pivoted strip d on the lower edge adapted to move in the plane of the door as it opens and closes and to rise or fall with the sloping surface. The strip may be actuated by the floor or by a cord f eccentrically connected to the jamb at g and adapted to lift the strip d in the case of an upward slope or to depress the strip c against the spring Tn in the case of a downward slope, as shown on the left and right of the Figure, respectively. Antifriction devices may be provided on the underside of the strip.
