Abstract

220,625. Geake, W. H. G. Aug. 17, 1923, [Convention date]. Draught excluders for doors, casements, &c. of the sliding-bar type. A wood or like excluder 8 has recesses 9 in which are fixed two parallel pins 10 sloping at an angle of about 7‹. The pins ,are engaged by the loops 17 of two springs housed in the recesses and secured to the door by screws 13. When the excluder engages the jam &c. the loops slide downwardly on the pins. The device may be actuated by a link &c. connected to a fixed point on the floor. The strip may have a rubber or like edging 15.
