Abstract

260,095. Robertshaw, W. T. Oct. 9, 1925. Draught and dust excluders.- The vertically sliding draught-excluding strip 11 on the bottom of a door is actuated by a plate or like contact member on the hinge post of the door and a ball 14 in a slotted ball-race 13 on the end of the strip. The excluder is carried by two pairs of slotted links 9 pivoted to brackets 7 secured in recesses in a base-board 6 and is raised by a spring, such as 8, and screws 12. The links 9 are so disposed that the excluder is adapted for actuation at the right or left hand side of a door. The excluder strip may be faced with rubber, felt &c.
