[Class 80 (iii).] In pistons of the type made in two or more parts interconnected by screw threads, self-locking and wedging threads of reversible or non- reversible type are employed. The top 15 and bottom 9 of the threads 6, 5, respectively are inclined at a small angle to the piston axis whereby, as the head 4 is screwed hard against the shoulder 17, the threads wedge tightly together.
