354,152. Cycle spring frames. GOURDIN, R. P., Amilly, Loiret, France. Dec. 24, 1930, No. 38951. Convention date, Dec. 26, 1929. [Class 136 (iii).] In a spring suspension for the front or rear wheels of cycles &c. the wheel spindle o<1> is carried on each side by one end of a lever b, which is pivoted at o to a member a on the fork and is connected at f near its other end to a rod c provided with a piston g adapted to slide, against the action of opposed compression springs m, n, in a cylinder d, which is pivoted at e to a clip h &c. on the fork. By means of removable attachment members a, h, the suspension may be applied to existing cycles. Instead of helical springs, rubber, pneumatic, or other springs may be employed, and a friction damper may be provided.
