Abstract

353,660. Sleeve couplings. DUNN, H. A., 32, Newington Causeway, London. July 4, 1930, No. 20297. [Class 38 (i).] A jointing connector for cables is constructed from a metal blank by making parallel slits 12 in two opposite edges, bending the blank to U-form and, after inserting the cable ends 14, bending over the fingers 13 in pairs in turn. The slits may be at an angle to the edges, or may be staggered on opposite sides of the U-shaped bank. The fingers formed by the slits may have saw-tooth edges or may be alternately long and short on each side.
