Abstract

243,660. Iverson, E. J. Sept. 29, 1925. Washers.-A washer of the type comprising two complenmetary sections which interlock, comprises two semicircular sections 10, 11 each having a recessed bifurcation 16 at one end, and an interengaging head 13 at the other end. The bifurcations 16 are grooved so that they are V-shaped in cross-section and the. edges of the heads 13 are correspondingly shaped to form a close fit therein. The outer limb of each bifurcation is formed as shown in Fig. 1 and is bent around the corresponding head to lock it.
