Abstract
218,312. Silbermann, S. June 30, 1923, [Convention date]. Couplings.-The ends of condenser cables when prepared for coupling &c. have the longitudinal distances between the edges of the individual metal sheets sufficiently great to give an almost uniform tension distribution at the exposed cable ends and the appropriate exposed metal sheets are electrically connected to each other. In couplings the exposed cable ends lie against one another so as to keep the metallic connections as short as possible. Specification 218,279.
