[Class 38 (v).] When current in a controlling circuit passes through bimetallic coils 29, 30, the movement of the coils rotates a shaft 28 carrying an arm 23 having a roller 24 engaging a lever 20 whereby the lever 20 is raised and with it a crosspiece 13 which raises spring contacts 7, 8, 9 in the main circuit from fixed contacts 10, 11, 12. The current in the controlling circuit may be derived from the secondary winding of a transformer 35.
