[Class 38 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXVII] Temperature.-When a thermostat contact 5 is deflected into engagement with either of two contacts 3, 4 to close a circuit for example of a reversible motor 15 operating means to correct the controlled temperature, the heating winding of a timetable element 11 or 12 is energized. The elements 11, 12 are pivotably connected to a frame or plate 2 carrying the contacts 3, 4 so that these are moved to open the motor circuit before the contact 5 has responded to the temperature correction, and heating of the control is prevented. Magnets 18, 19 carried by the frame effect quick contact engagement. The heating windings 13, 14 may be in a separate circuit with a series resistance by adjustment of which the regulator may be adapted to different operating conditions.
