Abstract
352,184. Reservoir pens. VOSS, C. J., LAUSEN, C., and DZIAMBOR, W. G. H., (trading as SIMPLO FœLLFEDER GES. VOSS, LAUSEN & DZIAMBOR), 75, Schanzenstrasse, Hamburg, Germany. May 26, 1930, No. 16147. Convention date, Sept. 4, 1929. [Class 146 (iii).] Relates to sac self-filling reservoir pens of the kind in which the sac is deflated by the buckling of a spring consequent on end pressure applied by means of a member in the end of the barrel, and consists in the provision of means for preventing accidental disconnection of the parts and for rendering them inaccessible. The end of the spring h lies in a block a of square cross section mounted in a correspondingly shaped aperture in the end of the barrel b, the block being retained in the aperture by a nut c. The block is provided with a screw-threaded extension d on which is screwed a sleeve g carrying a cap f, a lefthanded screw e in the end of the extension d preventing disconnection. In use, the cap f and sleeve g are screwed along the extension d until stopped by the screw e, the parts are then reciprocated to buckle the spring la and allow it to return to normal position, and the cap f is then screwed home along the extension d.
