[Class 79 (iii).] A device for steering trailers attached to motor vehicles comprising an horizontally-movable arm m pivoted to the motor vehicle and connected to the trailer draw-bar q is characterized by the feature that the arm is controlled by means of a screw spindle h mounted on the motor vehicle. In the construction shown the arm m works in a slot in a frame member p and is formed with a slot l engaged by a pin k fixed to a nut i traversed by the screw h, the screw being rotated by a handle g through the gearing shown.
