Abstract
350,632. Radiators for aircraft &c. WATT, R. J., Auchterburn, New Walk, North Ferriby, Yorkshire. April 4, 1930, No. 10736. [Classes 29 and 64 (iii).] An aircraft &c. radiator for cooling liquids comprises an air-cooled plate 8 of stream-line form and a corrugated plate 5 welded to the plate 8, the plates 5, 8 being secured to the inner and outer plates respectively of the liquid headers which have inlet and outlet pipes 10, 11 respectively. The radiator is mounted on a tube 12. In a modification, the radiator comprises a flat plate 8, Fig. 3, and a corrugated plate 5 secured to each other and to tapered headers.
