[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv).] Lantern fronts.-A frontglass having one half provided with corrugations extending perpendicularly to the line which separates the corrugated .part from the smooth part of the glass is fitted in a head - lamp having a bulb 1 with two filaments 2, 3, the latter being surrounded by a screen 4 so that the filament 3 throws light on part only of the reflector 5 and the corrugated part of the front glass. The effect is to spread the beam thrown by the filament 3.
