350,096. Domestic hot-water systems. BROWNHILL, E., 47, Bath Street, Hulme, Manchester. March 27, 1930, No. 9723. [Class 64 (i).] In a hot-water storage cylinder, the upflow pipe 6 from the boiler enters near the top and issues through an aperture 2 in order to supply hot water quickly. Hot water also escapes through an aperture 7 into the interior of the cylinder. The cold water supply passes through a pipe 8 and aperture 5 to the boiler, and a branch pipe 9 leads to a deflector plate 10 at the base of the cylinder. In a modification, the pipe 8 extends in U-form to a point low down in the cylinder.
