Abstract
352,090. Heating water. MARSHMAN, G., Trinity Street Works, Bury, Lancashire. Oct. 13, 1930, No. 1127. [Class 64 (i).] In apparatus of the kind in which water in a tank 5 is heated by hot water in an inner chamber 9, the water in the tank circulates through openended tubes 14 traversing the inner chamber. A tube 13 opening at its upper end into the inner chamber and at its lower end into the tank supplies make-up water to the chamber and allows water to escape from the chamber upon expansion. The water in the inner chamber may be heated electrically or the chamber may be connected by flow and return pipes 15, 16 to a boiler.
