[Class 64 (i)] In a hot-water tank a in which hot water is displaced into a delivery tube d by cold water entering at the base, the tube d is detachably secured in a base plate c and is covered at the top by a hood e riveted to the tank to form a siphon and prevent dripping. The tube d is enlarged at f where it is screwed into the plate c, which carries the heating element and thermostat and is bolted to the tank.
