[Class 120 (i).] In a machine for decorticating fibrecontaining foliate plants of the kind having two sets of endless rope conveyers arranged in staggered relationship, to facilitate the mounting or replacement of the rope conveyers the adjacent driving sheaves 1, 2 are mounted upon the free projecting ends of separate co-axial shafts 3, 4, means, such as one or more bolts 7, being provided for coupling the sheaves together.
