349,179. Refrigerating. METERS, Ltd., Blackfriars House, Parsonage, and APPLETON, C. C., 13, Croft Street, Lower Broughton, both in Manchester. March 12, 1930, No. 8018. [Class 29.] Compression machines.-A vessel e containing a thermostatic fluid, the pressure of which is transmitted through a tube h to actuate the switch of the compresser driving motor, is arranged in the top of the evaporator vessel d, with its cover subject to the temperature of the air of a refrigerating chamber. The wall of the vessel e is surrounded by an annular space f to which the vapour return pipe g extends. The evaporator may be fitted with external gills c on sleeves b, and the inlet valve a is controlled by a float as described in Specification 348,754.
